Simple Vinaigrette For Salad

Ingredients:
½ cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
¼ cup Vinegar (balsamic, wine, tomato or cider)
1 teaspoon Herbs or herb blend (Italian, Herbes de Provence, French Sunshine, GreekBasil, Thyme…)
Garlic granules (if desired)
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:
Whisk oil and vinegar together to create an emulsion (so they don’t separate). Whisk in other ingredients. Sprinkle over salad and serve.

Notes:
Want to add just a little more flavor to your salad? Instead of buying shake cheese, which is too easy to use in large quantities and does not have a lot of flavor, invest in a good fine grater (like a Microplane) and buy a chunk of Romano cheese to grate at the table. This actually results in less cheese being used and a more flavorful addition to the meal.
